This is a dog quoting something said in a cell phone commercial. But he is not actually talking into a cell phone. He is talking into a cat.

David Berman is a human. He played in the Silver Jews. He also likes drawing cartoons. and writing poetry. In his work, he writes a lot about dogs. If a dog, you should definitely check out his stuff. So good, you’ll want to scratch yourself.

“A toy poodle who was found in a Louisiana ditch had hair so matted and overgrown he had to be sedated to be groomed. Rescuers  found cockroaches — live and dead ones — throughout his coat. His legs could barely move. His mouth was unable to open because the fur was so badly matted around it. (But somehow he was only skinny, not malnourished.) He didn’t seem to have eyes or ears. His rescuers did not know whether he was a boy or girl until he was shaved.”

This makes me feel a little bit better about how poorly Amos is groomed most of the time. I had to look at this picture for a solid picture to figure out what was what. I was eventually able to locate the nose. Hence, the arrow.

This is a cat in a box. The human took this because it kind of looks like a spaceship. But cats don’t actually travel in spaceships. At least not as often as dogs do.

Do you ever wonder why humans put shock collars on you? The truth is exposed!

These are a bunch of photos of a cat. Cat in drawer, cat in sink, etc. These photos make this cat look a little chunky. They were probably posted without the cat’s permission. (via thefrogman)

Do you sometimes walk on your two front legs when you pee? The humans explain why.

This is a human showing a video tape. These were devices they stuck inside of VCRs, so that they could watch movies. You can’t watch movies. But you don’t seem to mind.

If you find one of these kicking around in your owner’s storage unit, keep in mind that the outer part does not have great mouth feel. Too crunchy, plastically. The next level is tape—best to steer clear (carcinogenic). But the white, plastic reel is good for several hours of chewing pleasure.
